New in Windows 7, Jump Lists take you right to the documents, pictures, songs, or websites you turn to each day. To open a Jump List, just right-click a program icon on the Windows 7 taskbar. (You'll also find them on the Start menu.) What you see in a Jump List depends entirely on the program. The Jump List for Internet Explorer 8 shows frequently-viewed websites. Windows Media Player 12 lists commonly-played tunes. Your Jump List missing a favorite? You can "pin" whatever files you like there. Jump Lists don't just show shortcuts to files. Sometimes they also provide quick access to commands for things like composing new eâmail messages or playing music.

In Windows 7 you can "pin" favorite programs anywhere on the taskbar for easy access. Not crazy about the icon lineup? Now you can rearrange them any way you like by clicking and dragging. Absolutely love it
I have just gotten this laptop. I got mine on sale at the microsoft store online for a great price. Mine was 5 and its new, it has Windows 7, 4gb memory, 500gb hard drive and came with the 9 cell battery. Many colors to chose from. Also from getting it from Microsoft, they got rid of all the unneccesary programs that were installed on it from Dell.
Very easy easy to set up, because just about everything was done for me. I just had to turn it on, enter my name and info and then go to the Dell website and transfer the warranty, very easy.
This is my second Dell Laptop, my first one was terrific, so I thought about getting another Inspirion, but I wanted something a little different so I decided on the Studio 1555 and I am so glad I did.
Very easy to use, I love the long battery life. I really like the cd player, so much better than having a tray come out. I love the mouse pad and the wider or longer keyboard on the Studio vs. the Inspirion I had
I read some bad reviews, but I figured I would give the laptop a try, it is under warranty so if I have any problems I know Dell will fix it up for me.

Good for casual users. Not suitable for gaming users mainly because the keyboard has functions that disables the easy clicking of the F1-F12 buttons which come in handy for a number of games. Good for playing songs and browsing the internet. Great deal.

I got this laptop as a replacement for my Insprion Laptop. I love this laptop every bit especially after using Inspiron 1525. I love the LCD Screen, battery life and the configuration of this sytem. Windows 7 is really good and it makes me like my laptop even more. This one has the t6600 intel core2duo's centrino processor. Studio laptops stands out in its looks and is comparable to the Hp's. One the bad side, this laptop is a bit heavy.
