What can I say? This computer is refurbished. It is quiet and it has worked well since I recieved it. The cost was very reasonable. I have a Gateway and I have owned a Gateway since they started. My wife has had a number of computers in that time. Her most recent is a HP with all the power needed for video and ram memory.
The problem she experienced, and continues to experience is Vista! This machine comes with XP Pro, so I don't require new drivers, etc... It works and is reasonably fast, although I think I might need more ram do to the amount of memory most programs use in order to continue at a reasonable rate of speed.
Service is paramount! And Reverse Logistics has been right there for me!
Computer was packaged well, with as many warnings and directions as could be posted on a box. My mouse was damaged. I emailed and the company through the Amazon webb site and recieved a phone call! Sent a new mouse, no charge! As I mentioned earlier I thought I needed more memory, and called Reverse Logistics, I was given an immediate link to access the information on the computer and practicle advice regarding the type and amount of ram, thank you very much!
So...!!! In my personal case, the combination was a home run. And I would buy from this company again!

The computer market is now a crap shoot. The cost of computers as well as the quality has come down. My choice was an economic one. Worked for me.
I purchase tools and equipment based on what reviewers have said. If there is a consistant discrepancy I stay away. Many situations relate to aftermarket service and the phone service person going down a logistical chart to "help" us and it is usually frustrating. I buy based on service and the notion "it's gonna break down!" I'm sure that Reverse Logiastics will respond with a practical, real answer.
My experience...to date...is 5 stars.
