Know how to manually adjust this RAM!!
I have seen some reviews on here of people talking about bad sticks out of the box and BSoDs related to memory....

This RAM operates at a higher than normal voltage. All of the motherboards I've seen set the voltage for RAM to 1.8v by default. (keep in mind this is just in my experience...not to say their are not mobos out there that automatically set the right voltage.)

In order to make this memory run stable you absolutely have to crank the voltage up in BIOS. It has to be at 2.1v to run stable!

Next, be sure to set the correct timings inside your BIOS (5-5-5-15(3-5) and 1066).

If you don't know how to do these things either look it up or buy something you can just install and go. I find it hard to believe that there are really that many failures. I would bet that half of the ones on here saying they got bad sticks didn't adjust everything in BIOS.

I have been running this same RAM for over a year. At first, I got errors and such as others have mentioned but once I really started looking into the problem it was all related to low default voltage (1.8) while trying to run them at 1066MHz. Applied the proper settings and haven't had one problem since!

Buy it!
Nice look, good performance i got 8GB running at dual channel,
good upgrade to my home made server and rig when not
really working.
Cons this part is a little old nowadays.
