I ran this cable through my ceiling. Turns out to be way more cable than I needed so I coiled it up at one end and tied it off. The cable also crosses several power lines for my recessed lighting in the ceiling. I mention the coil and power lines because I have seen other people talking about shielding issues and needing to streach their cables out or the signal gets corrupt and the cable does not work. THIS CABLE WORKS.
I have run this from my PC with a DVI to HDMI converter to an epson 8100 projector. I have also run it from a Yamaha AV Reciever to the projector (HDMI to HDMI). Both work flawlessly. I mention this because I have read that a PC video card may not have enough power to work over a 50' cable. I have a Radeon 4870. It only has DVI outputs. So with a PC video card and a (asin:B001N2ELE0).77 adapter that i got off amazon this cable works.
I have two 6' HDMI cables, both with different manufactures, and I have run all of them interchangably (to test picture quality) and there is absoultly no difference between any of the 3 cables I have. 6' or 50' all produce the same great picture.
The only issue I can see is if you have a tight space behind the unit you plug this cable into. The cable is a little bit stiff. With the end and the stiffness you will need 3" of space in order to not have to bend it to sharply.
What an amazing price for a cable of this length.
Excellent quality
I purchased this cable to connect two HD televisions via an HDMI splitter. An awkward run required a 50-foot cable, and I had concerns about image degradation, but it works just fine. A high-quality cable.
Works as expected
Needed this cable to connect a PC to the LCD TV on the other side of the room and there is no loss of quality at this length. Everything displays perfectly and there was no detectable lag from looking at the monitor and tv simultaneously. Based on it's high quality performance and construction, this cable would sell in electronics stores for 0-250.

I used this cable to hook my computer up to my Plasma. Compared to the 9.00 35ft Monster THX 1000, image quality and sound reproduction appeared identical. Excellent cable and excellent value!
